Last year, Prateik Babbar broke stereotypes and came out in the open about his battle with substance abuse and the impact it had on his professional and personal life.
However, ever since then, things seem to have turned around for the actor. Reprots suggest that he is all set to tie the knot with his rumoured girlfriend, Bollywood writer Sanya Sagar, with an engagement set to take place this month. The dup have known each other since 8 years, but reportedly only started dating a year ago.
The engagement is set to take place on the 22nd of January and will be attended only by close friends and family. A source revealed to India Today, “The engagement will be a close-knit affair. Their families are tight-lipped about it, as Prateik wants to go a little easy and stay away from the limelight unless it's work-related. While they have decided to get engaged in Lucknow, the date is subject to change as the families are yet to finalise a few things."
On the professional front, the actor is all set to make a comabcak in Baaghi 2, alongside Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani.
